Let me begin by saying this: Lily is one of the most amazing women I've ever met and our night together was simply enchanting. Connecting with her was a life-changing experience, which I will always treasure. She's kind-hearted and her energy is as beautiful as she is. She truly is a healer.
I was sitting on the couch in the stately living room when she came out wearing a light robe over a tight, pink dress, an ethereal quality to her gait. We introduced ourselves and she said, with a mischievous nymph-like giggle, that I was a "cute guy". That beautiful giggle really was contagious: it cut through my defenses, allowed me to be at ease, and I found myself laughing a lot despite being of a generally morose character.
Instantly, we connected over our shared interests in literature (H.P. Lovecraft obviously but others as well), mythology, philosophy, and history. In fact, one of the other girls overheard us discussing the Roman analogues of Greek gods while we were walking down the hallway and gave us a peculiar look—as if to say, "what the hell are they talking about?"—which in hindsight was pretty funny.
The time I spent with Lily was nothing short of magical. The whole time I felt as if I was in some otherworldly realm (perhaps Elysium), and as if time had ceased. I listened to her, and was touched by her trials and tribulations. I was able to open up to her in a single night more than I ever did in an entire relationship. Our lives were so similar that it was uncanny, as if this moment had been destined by a cosmic or divine force.
I was enjoying conversing with her so much that I honestly was in no hurry to rush to the sexual part of our date. I was transfixed, like the Lotus-eaters Odysseus encountered, relishing every moment. I felt like I was in the presence of a dryad or elven princess and not of a mere mortal. That's how I enamored I was. At the end of the sexual part, we cuddled. She also gave me some blueberries to recuperate, which was very sweet.
Later, as she was walking me down the hall again, she suddenly yelled, "Watch out!", pushing me out of the way. There'd been a poisonous spider near me and, had it bit me, I'd have required an ambulance. I looked at Lily—my radiant knight in shining armor—and in a state of awe said, "You saved me". You could say that this was a metaphor for the entire night. I left changed, imbued with her unique energy, and with a lot to think about. I hope I'll see her again.
